Spent around 6 hours washing, waxing and detailing this. More time than I’ve driven it since summer.

I have yet to give my STi a nice detailing. Just some quick single bucket washing at the coin operated wash. At least Im not using the brush lol. But yeah I need to do a lengthy clay and wax. Have yet to do that since purchasing the car since I’ve just been lazy. Find it much harder when I dont have a hose at home anymore like I used to.

If you were local, I’d do it for free. Or let you use my driveway. I love cleaning cars

Oh I enjoy it too which is even dumber that I am being lazy about it. I could have like 4 hours go by and not even realize it because I am just in the zone, claying away. It never really looks that great at first either. But then like the next day it always looks amazing. It will get the right light and just look like a whole new car.

I wish there were car washes where they actually allowed bucket washing and had bays where I could park for a few hours for a detailed cleaning like that. Instead there is always a line and they rush you out like some sort of factory. Its an unfortunate part of apartment living I suppose. I guess I could just wash it, then drive home and do the clay and wax. Its just hard to get home without getting it a little dirty again. I suppose a quick detail spray would work in that case.
